Last pic about this (others in gallery). Replaced the stock 5200 fan w/Vantec Iceberq 4. As posted, fan only tolerable at 8V (or less I guess)... Used a 3.9V zener in series. Although stock cooler didn't have high pitch (& would be fine w/a couple diodes), this one definately cools better. But must leave on the blue cap/grill to get best cooling (tried both w/ & w/o it... Much cooler with (tested after 5-10 mins of Openmark).
You can see zip tie holding bottom-left corner of card (to mobo), s-video connector removed for air flow & 30mm 5V fan connected next to RAM slots... Gave up non-working DVI port for now.
