End of year site maintenance

CubeOwner.com will be ringing in the New Year with some site improvements, so don't panic if you drop by over the next few days and find things a wreck. The site will be offline periodically between now and Monday, but things should be settled by then.

See you next year!

FastMac offers discounts on Cube SuperDrive

Now, when you purchase a FastMac 8x SuperDrive, you can save $10 off the regular price by using coupon code FASTCUBE. You'll need to put the coupon code in the Notes field when you place your order so that the $10 discount is applied.

UPDATE: 12/24/04

Michael Lowdermilk, Business Development Manager at FastMac says "the price difference between the 1x and the 2x (in the store listing) is a bit confusing so please let me explain. The 1x is a limited supply item that does not require patching or updated drivers like the 2x or the 8x does which is why it has the higher price.

In regards to the coupon code it is $10 off on all Optical Drives (not just the 8x). Also please tell your readers who have more than one Mac (besides their prized Cube) that they can get an additional $20 off if they buy an optical drive AND AGP upgrade on the same invoice, for a total savings of $30!"
